Subject Requirements for Accounting professionals
As of 1 July 2015 new requirements apply for skills assessments. In order to obtain a positive skills assessment, the following is required:
- a qualification that is assessed to be at least the equivalent to an Australian Bachelor degree
- to have successfully studied all mandatory competency areas that are relevant to your occupation as listed below
- to have met the English proficiency requirement for the visa subclass you are applying for *exemptions may apply
For the following occupations, you will need to meet at least seven (7) competency areas consisting of the following subjects:
Accountant (General) 221111
Corporate Treasurer 221212
Finance Manager 221212
Management Accountant 221112
